This policy applies to all orders placed on the Shanya online store. It is designed to comply with the applicable requirements for e-commerce in Canada and Quebec, including the principles of transparency and personal information protection provided by Law 25.

1. Shipping

Order processing times

Orders are generally processed within 1 to 2 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding holidays).

Orders placed:

  • after 12 PM (EST)

  • during weekends

  • or during periods of high demand

will be processed on the next business day.

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number.


Shipping rates

Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout.

For Canada:

  • Free shipping for orders of $150 CAD and over

  • Standard shipping fees apply to orders below this amount.

A signature upon delivery option may be available at checkout to secure package receipt.

If this option is not selected, Shanya cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen packages after delivery confirmation by the carrier.


Incorrect address or unclaimed package

It is the customer's responsibility to verify that the provided address is accurate.

If a package is returned to Shanya due to:

  • an incorrect address

  • an unclaimed package

  • an error in the information provided

re-shipping fees may apply.


International shipping

Shanya may ship some orders internationally.

Customers located outside Canada are responsible for:

  • customs duties

  • import taxes

  • local processing fees

These fees are not controlled by Shanya.


2. Returns Policy

Return eligibility

We accept returns within 15 days of receiving the order, if products are:

  • unopened

  • unused

  • in their original packaging

  • accompanied by proof of purchase

For hygiene and safety reasons (beauty products and skin care), some items may not be eligible for return once opened.


How to request a return

To initiate a return, please contact our team with:

  • your order number

  • the product concerned

  • the reason for the request

Upon validation, we will provide instructions for returning the item.


Refunds

Once the product is returned and inspected, the refund will be processed according to the request timeframe:

Return requested within 7 days:

  • refund to the original payment method

Return requested between 8 and 15 days:

  • store credit or gift card

Initial shipping costs are generally not refundable, except in case of an error on our part.


3. Damaged products or order errors

If you receive:

  • a damaged product

  • an incorrect item

  • a missing item

you must contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the package and product.

We will correct the situation promptly (replacement or refund).


4. Skin reactions or allergies

If a skin reaction occurs:

  1. stop using the product immediately

  2. contact us within 48 hours

  3. provide a photo and description of the reaction

Each case will be evaluated individually.


5. Sale items

The following items are final sale:

  • clearance products

  • special promotions

  • major sales

  • limited offers

They are not eligible for return or exchange.


6. Protection of personal information (Law 25)

As part of order processing, Shanya collects certain necessary information, including:

  • name

  • shipping address

  • contact details

  • order information

This data is used only to:

  • process orders

  • ensure delivery

  • provide customer service

  • comply with legal obligations.

Shanya applies reasonable security measures to protect personal information in accordance with applicable laws in Quebec.
